This series of hands-on workshops helps bring history to life for children ages 7 and up.

History Workshops Schedule:

January 31, 10 AM – Noon
Children’s History Workshop — Quill Pens and Berry Ink
You couldn’t always run to the store and buy a pack of pens! People used to make their own ink out of organic materials. Will you be able to write with a ‘quill pen?’ Reservations not required. $10 per child, or $7 for Musuem members.

February 28, 10 AM – Noon
Children’s History Workshop — Play It Again: Board Games
Board games were quite popular in the 1800s. Play some familiar and not-so-familiar games, and even create and design your very own game! Reservations not required. $10 per child, or $7 for Museum members.

March 28, 10 AM – Noon
Children’s History Workshop — Victorian Paper Art
Victorians really had fun with arts and crafts, and you will too in this interactive session as you learn what sorts of paper art they created! You’ll even get to design your own craft project. Reservations not required. $10 per child, or $7 for Museum members.

April 25, 10 AM – Noon
